Specifically the IonCube Loaders

Requirements:
PHP version 4.3.x or newer (fully supports PHP v5!)
A MySQL Database
Ability to run IonCube Loaders (these are included in DLGuard)

    It's got the first 2 by default. Unless something has changed you just have to ask for ioncube to be loaded.

    Just a quick note, in case others are wondering the same thing, when you install DLGuard onto GoDaddy Linux, the loaders are actually uploaded for you automatically.

    The Godaddy instructions talk about downloading them, and then uploading them to your website. But DLGuard's automatic installer will do this for you - so no need!

    There's a DLGuard help doc on setting up IonCube on GoDaddy here:

      Sam, so the installer does all the work, and I do not have to do anything?

      Or does the installer do MOST of the work and then I have to manually do something extra or Godaddy has to manually do something extra, after the installer does it's part?

    Godaddy support php5 and mysql database but you must ask technical support for loading ioncube to be loaded for your site

    It's pretty awesome that one would NEED DLGuard instead of hiring a programmer who actually know what he's doing. Are people just throwing their sites up, paying $2/hr and hoping for the best like that?? They are called Tokens ... use them, love them.
