Question about Flowplayer

Can this be used with a Mac? I presume that it can, but I just need to be sure.

Has anyone used this program? It certainly looks interesting but I have no idea as to how to evaluate it, as this is completely new territory for me.

Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated!

    FlowPlayer is a wrapper to play videos on websites.
    It is not a desktop player.

    It is one of the most commonly used sources for playing self hosted web videos.

    phpbbxpert: Thanks for the response. However, I'm not sure what you mean by a wrapper?

    If I download the software on my Mac do I then have to upload it to my hosting account to get it to work?

    Sorry to sound so clueless - however, I AM clueless. (At least I am when I'm trying to figure out techy stuff...)

      Flowplayer is great... been using it for a while now. Like phpbbexpert said, it is used to play videos from your website. The "player" consists of a handful of files (php, javascript, etc) that you upload to your website via FTP, so it doesn't matter what platform your computer is (Mac/Windows).

    Thanks Brandon: So once the files are uploaded, I presume I have to upload the video as well. I'm sure there are instructions so I'm off to check it out.
