How to make mp3 audio autoplay on website? Help

Hi All,

I have tried everything to get my audio to auto start and nothing seems to work. :-(

I have downloaded the latest google reader to my site and put in the parameter to autoplay and nothing seems to work. I have been viewing in Firefox mostly and have checked in IE as well and it still won't play.

I would very much appreciate your help.

Here is the code:
<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="audioUrl=SEOOptimizationFR.mp3" src="player_mp3.swf" width="300" height="27" autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="false" quality="best" ></embed>

I have tried with both autoplay = 1 and autostart, nothing seems to work.

the url for the page is SEO Detective

Thanking you in advance.

Denise

Seems elementary, but make sure the mp3 is in the root folder of your site on the server.

Where did you get that player? Might try using JW Player or Flow Player instead. You also should make sure you have a crossdomain.xml in the same folder as your mp3 file.

Use Flowplayer as your audio player. It has a plugin that you can download that allows it to play audio files and it does have an autostart feature built into it.

Just grab Flowplayer and set it up on your site, that should be all you need.
