Help transferring wordpress site to a new domain and new host

PROGRAMMING

I have move all the files to the new server and set up everything up. But when I click the post link on the new domain, its taking me back to the old domain. I'm not sure if I need to change the forwarding or DNS or could it be the htaccess file needs editing.

I would appreciate some feedback, or maybe a link to a tutorial. Thanks in advance.

You need to change the DNS settings. This may take upto 72 hours to propogate, so be patient.

Do you mean that you domain name is actually different? If so you need to change that in the wordpress wp-admin settings area.
