Please help! My blog is loading very slowly

I have been spending a lot of time and effort to troubleshoot the root of the problem on why my blog Quickest Way to Lose Weight for Busy Corporate Professionals | Quickest Way to Lose Weight for Busy Corporate Professionals: 10 Minute Corporate Fat Loss Plan loads so slowly. I've spoken with hostgator technicians and posted a question on the headway themes forum, but none came back with any conclusive causes or useful feedback.

Below is what I have done so far:

1. Disabled all plugins. This made the speed even worse.
2. I have W3 cache and Csprites (resolution set to 60)
3. Switched back to default wordpress theme. Speed is almost the same. No improvement.

Sometimes landing on the main blog site is relatively quicker, but when I click through on the other blog posts, it takes more than 15 seconds to reach the page.

Warriors, I'd really appreciate any advice and help you can give.

Have you contacted your hosting company, could be a problem on their end.

If you use Google's Chromium web browser, it comes with a set of web developer tools including one called Audit. It will give you a list of suggestions to speed up the loading of your page.

If you use Firefox, you can install an Add-On called Firebug, and a second Add-On called YSlow to get the same report.

Ok, I did the caching of the image and css mime types. I did see a bit of speed improvement with the changes though. Maybe a second or two. But I'm really not sure how to do the rest cos its running off a wordpress blog. I'm using headway and I'm not a wordpress expert

        Can anyone advice?

Yes I have contacted hostgator a few times. Out of the 4 times, they said their server has a huge load. Other times they said its ok.

But the problem is, when I log into the root domain Quickest Way to Lose Weight for Busy Working Professionals it gets me there a lot quicker than Quickest Way to Lose Weight for Busy Corporate Professionals | Quickest Way to Lose Weight for Busy Corporate Professionals: 10 Minute Corporate Fat Loss Plan

So not sure if this is a hosting problem.

    site loads fast for me

try using the "timeline" in Google Chrome developer tools, it shows you the latency of each resource loading on your site. Finding the culprit is pretty easy from there.

I have found the bloody culprit! Its the damn Csprites plugin! Its supposed to speed up the loading of images, but it ended up slowing down the entire site.

After I've disabled it, and enabled W3 cache, my pages load up within 4 secs as compared to 15 seconds previously.

    Use webmaster techniques like

    1. use CDN for assets (img, js, css).
    2. disable plugins that take your server memory.
    3. use w3total cache.

I use WP Super Cache for my caching, but if you need to speed your WP site up fast, get PHP Speedy. It's free and it really does help with speed.
