List sharing to JV's helping to promote an event?

I am marketing an online teleseminar w/ several JV partners, each sending out pre-event emails to their respective lists.

The prospect will register for the event through MY squeeze page and infusion soft webform. The challenge is that as part of the deal with the JV partners, we will need to share the registration list with them so everyone benefits from the list building.

Is there a way that when the prospect registers for the event that they can be put into the JV partners lists' as well? Or is the only option- to export the list and send to the JV's for importing??

    I would recommend to only do this when the expectations have been properly set so registrants knowingly authorize their email to go to different parties. If this is not explicitly disclosed (that is, not buried in a privacy policy), it will result in spam complaints to you and the associated JVs. And spam complaints earn the ire of the provider.

    To answer the question, I would recommend the use of our API. The API can store contact details and a developer could easily save the data into multiple apps. (Assuming the other JV partner is an Infusionsoft user.)

    If not, then you could use an automated Fulfillment List. A fulfillment list is list of contacts with their info and various details that gets sent out via email or FTP on a regular basis. It's intended to go out to shippers so they can send products, but it could be used for the purpose of sharing data.

    Above all, please get the permission from the contacts before doing this. Failure to do so not only risks your account, but causes us and others in the industry to get a poor reputation. All users are bound by our Acceptable Use Policy posted at http://www.infusionsoft.com/legal-stuff/aup.

    Thanks and hope this helps!

      Joseph this helps tremendously and I appreciate greatly the need for permission...we uphold a strict no-spam policy for our company.

      I don't believe the JV's are Infusion users (sorry, we love IS though!). The automated fulfillment list sounds like it could work, b/c the JV's will be shipping the products that the prospects purchase.

      Let me ask this;

      1) can I get the permission of the prospect during the opt in stage? so we fully disclose and they choose to opt in and register for the summit...

      2) how to I go about getting an automated fulfillment list? I've zero experience in that...

      Thank you for your time
