Need some Help: Author Profile Widget with Search (Wordpress MU)

Ive scoured the net and have yet to come up with something that will work for what I want to do. I want to give bloggers on my site a widget with Pic, name, number, website, address, etc... And then allow surfers the ability to search from a widget on my main site. For instance if somebody is looking for a plumber in Houston Texas and if my blog site was about plumbers then a surfer could search Houston TX for plumbers.


Any ideas? I would greatly greatly greatly appreciate it!

    Someone comes to your site.
    Downloads the widget, and puts it on their site
    Fills in their details on the widget on their site
    People can search on your site to find those other people?

    Or just a widget on your site so people can put in information and another widget so other peopel can search?

      Forgive me for not wanting to put my niche on a public forum but lets say I have a site called Plumbers.com. On plumbers.com I am running Wordpress MU.

      Plumbers from all across the country pay me a small monthly fee so that they can have a blog that I spend tons of money to bring customers too. I want to give the plumbers the ability to put a profile in their sidebar. This profile would have a picture and all contact info.

      On the main site, mine, there is a search function where people interested in getting a plumber in Houston Texas would just have to type in Houston Tx. or Home Depot if they want a plumber that works for home depot.
