how to sell ebook from a wp site?

Can anyone explain?
i want to sell an ebook, capture email and name, and then send the buyer their ebook.
so what is the sequence and where can i store my ebook safely and easily?
I have put the paypal button the site....
i can direct the buyer from the paypal site. but then to where?
what is logical, and simple?
( i have autoresponder)

    If you're using PayPal Merchant account, I recommend you to read documentation about Instant Notifications: cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/library_code

    Instant Notification system is sending POST request to you.
    For each customer you can create some random code that is sent to his e-mail. Or you can use some PayPal receipt number as this code.
    Then user is redirected to the download page, where the code is requested. If the code is correct - you can then let the user download the product.

    another option would be to consider a sequence like:
    customer buys book through paypal...
    is returned to an autoresponder signup page (a separate list just for your customers) saying enter your email to receive the download link in your inbox or somesuch.
    when customer clicks the confirm link is redirected to the download page.
    optionally setup autoresponder to send a followup email with download page just in case.
