Problem with Adsense appearing

Hi. I have just finished converting a small site from .html to wordpress. I'm running WP 3.0.3 and using the Twentyten template. For some reason, Adsense is not showing up in the site. I've inserted an Adsense block into the page code to make adsense appear just above the blog post title and then a verticle unit in a sidebar widget. I've put the privacy settings for search engines. Right now, a blank space shows up where the Adsense is supposed to appear. I know that there can be a delay before the Adsense appears, but it has been several hours. Also, I have other wordpress sites where Adsense is functioning without problem.

I'd appreciate any thoughts, comments, advice.

    Hi Evan,
    Have you tried just viewing it in a different browser? Or done the cache-clearing thing?
    If you've grabbed the adsense code from your adsense account it should all be good. I have experienced a wait of quite a few hours for adsense too sometimes.

    if you have just inserted... then they can take upto 4hours showing up correctly...

    Thank you very much for your replies. I haven't tried clearing the cache yet; however, I have tried in different browsers. I should probably try using a completely different machine. I've had the code in for the last eight hours, and it is still not showing up. Probably something simple that I'm overlooking.
