Making a WP theme - Or let it be made?

Hi fellow programmers,

First time I'm on this part of the forum, but I think this will be the place to ask. I need a very simple Wordpress theme. It's for my clients so they can edit there Facebook Fanpage iFrame tab.

Can I make this myself, or are there people who do this for a quite low cost :p?

Hope someone can help me!

There is 3 ways to go about it; if you want to spend the time to learn how to do them and make a fully custom one yourself so it's 100% original to your site then here is a link to a great tutorial I used myself in the past to learn how to make WP templates:

(since I can't post links yet I can tell you how to find it on google) Do a search on google for:
make your own wordpress theme tutorial

And the tutorial will be the second result titled "How To Create a WordPress Theme: The Ultimate WordPress Theme ..."

    * I did not write that tutorial, just recommending it as it's really good.

Second option is you can hire someone else (a Warrior here or a freelancer elsewhere) to do it but that option will cost you more than $5. With this option you can also get a theme that is 100% custom to your website.

Third option is to buy a pre-made wordpress theme from a template store. This will cost you less than the second option but still more than $5 as it'll be from $25 - $100 depending on the theme store you buy it at.

I hope that information here helps you out.

Why would you even want to make a new theme? There are thousands of simple and great-looking free themes... Why dont you use one of them?

If you really wanna do something new and you wanna do it yourself, I would suggest you might start from here : wordpress-naked - A blank Wordpress theme - Google Project Hosting

Basically its a wordpress theme without any styling, so that you can modify and style it easily to your needs.
