Not a valid Win32 application

PROGRAMMING

I am trying to install a software from an affiliate and getting the following error message:

C:\Documents and settings\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

In Google I see several postings for such errors and download options to fix the problem but I am nervous about downloading from unknown sources. I am hoping someone from here can help me with this, please.

P/S I have a Windows-XP system

Sounds like the download did not complete 100% or the file was never 100% uploaded.

You are sort of stuck unless you can get a full working version. Try contacting the author.

Corrupt EXE. Download whatever file it is again. Also if you did not download and run said file scan for spyware NOW!
