WordPress - Video refuses to stay embedded. Any ideas?

I have an identical video I'm embedding in 2 of my WP posts. However, one of the posts will simply not show the video.

Everything is the same between both posts, both about the same number of words. Nothing else in the post, no pictures, no formatting to speak of.

One post will show the video no problem every time, the other just shows a small white space as though I started a new paragraph.

Any thoughts on this?

    Have you gone to the HTML window and checked that both embed codes are actually identical?

    Sounds like the code in the one that doesn't show has an error in it, or an error in surrounding HTML.

      Hi Mike,

      Yep, I've made sure over and over that the code is identical.

      There are no rogue html tags anywhere near it. I'm not a complete novice with html so I know what should be there and not.

      But this one is baffling me. If I edit the page/post the embed code is there, it's not like it disappears or anything, it just doesn't appear on the final page when I view the site.

      It's not vitally important now as I replaced it with an image of the video and this works ok.

      I was just curious as to whether this was a regular WP quirk

        Hey Ron,

        Glad you got it sorted out. Your comment about wondering if it's a regular quirk made me smile. Everyday I'm amazed at what can pop up and go wrong that always worked before. I think it's an unwritten law of the Internet. LOL.

        A few days from now you'll forget all about this problem because there will be 3 new ones to fix.

    Hi Proffesor,

    I've replaced the video with an image of the video, now when it's clicked it goes straight to the sales page and to be honest it's working better.
