Who Sucks? S3, Zip Archive or Me - Please Advise!

3 replies
Firstly, I "always" (usually) hire skilled people to do all my tech work. This time however, with it being so easy I did it myself. How stupid!

Can you advise please.

I have uploaded zip files to S3. The links are showing. All is fine.
When I right click and save the file it shows that I'm downloading a winrar zip archive. All fine.

When I try to open the file (using my MS OpSystem zip archive) it shows: No archive found; The archive is either unknown or damaged.

I know it's not missing or damaged because I zipped the files up.

When I used 7zip to do the same thing it shows: Cannot open file.

When I left click the url provided by S3 shows:

<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>

<HostId>

</HostId>
</Error>

Can You Suggest What I've Done Wrong, or What S3 is Doing?

At first I thought it might be because I used my built in zip archive on my laptop. So I downloaded and used 7zip, with the same result, so I don't think it's that?

Can you solve my problem?

Thank's in advance
John
