Help Please! New site was perfect now it's all 404 error pages

Just put up a new site. It's about 1 week old. It was all perfect and now all the pages except the homepage are 404 error pages.

I'm supposed to show it to a potential client tomorrow. Can anyone help.

I know basic wordpress, not coding. I "Googled" for some answers, but nothing I found helped.

    I called Hostgator and they fixed the problem. It was the .htaccess file.
