Existing script to WP plugin

I have a script that a few years ago I had some modifications written for it.

Now, I would quite like the script to be ported into a wordpress plugin.

Would this be a fairly straightforward process?

It's PHP, so if your script is PHP it shouldn't be too awfully difficult. If the script has any other dependencies, things might get slightly more complicated but it shouldn't really be tricky unless your existing script is in a different language.

      Oh, please.

Joomla is a PHP script. Can you make a WP plugin out of it?

To the OP: it depends on what your script does, and how it's written.

If you could tell us what your plugin does, we could probably tell you how difficult it is.

will be much easier if it is a PHP script , although everything can be integrated

but in case of being a PHP , it is a kids work for an experienced developer .
