Customer Database?

I'm looking for an online customer database which allows unlimited users. I do not want users to be able to see the whole customer list, but instead have to search for specific information in order to find that customer.

Ideally each independent contractor would have their own database within the database where they could "clone" the main customer info (inputted by me) and have it imported to their own database.

I have searched and searched for something affordable (like salesforce, sugar crm etc) but I haven't found anything.

So if I can find something with less features but still holds my customers information and makes it securely available, then I'll start there.

Please let me know if anyone knows of a program

    I haven't heard of a program that does this, but surely you could build it yourself or pay someone to build it using mysql & php.

    Hey ReikiGirl,

    two things:

    a) you say you need "unlimited" customers. I am sure your business model is great - but do you REALLY need a solution that can take unlimited users yet? especially when it comes to CRM / ERP solutions, I see people having growing pains before their first customer. Have a look if there are solutions out there that can take maybe "just" 1000 customers in their free/basic versions; once you get there, you can continue. Don't get headaches about that, yet!

    b) to find a good solution: Do you have a list of all database fields that you need to have? What filters do you need? etc. etc. - This will help (us) finding the right solution for you.
