Wordpress 3.3 is out and About

Let the fun begin, Wordpress, 3.3 is out and already people are experiencing, issues with broken themes, broken plugins, broken promises, well perhaps that last is a bit much.

One thing for sure, if you have clients, that are prone to upgrade and ask questions later, chances are they are going to really regret the decision to upgrade to wordpress 3.3

Personally I think I will just wait until the dust and the yelling settles down.

Its never a good idea to upgrade when a new version an anything comes out. There are always problems and you would not want to destroy a live website. Its best to test on a non live site first!

    Thanks for the info!

I'll make sure not to auto-update, or I'll probably in for repairing a couple of dozen blogs...

    Cheers,

I upgraded on one blog to check it out, but will wait for a week or so, before I do it for the others. There frequently are "patches" after a major upgrade and it's a PITA to do several upgrades in a very short time if you have many blogs.

At the moment the only major annoyance I see is that my backend is a bit messed up because I use the Ozh' Admin Drop Down Menu plugin, and it doesn't (yet) play nice with WP 3.3.
