Please advice on forum and a blog!

Hey Everyone, me and my partner planning on creating a site something similar to ebay/daily deals and since we're on the budget and it would cost much I thought I would get started on SEO while we're gather money, so I would like to get started with:

forum and a blog

our platform will be PHP based so how can we get started and have the forum along with a blog going so in future they can integrate/attached our forum and blog to the actual ebay/daily deals PHP platform? Please advice, thank you!

    You could use WordPress and install one of the forums that integrate with it (like Mingle, bbPress, Simple: Press, etc.)

    You can also display and integrate EPN (eBay) ads either manually, or via one of the several plugins available at WordPress › WordPress Plugins

    eBay also has an API that you could incorporate if you're smart and not using WP, or look at some scripts at hotscripts.com.
