Can anyone tell me how to go about in creating a dating site?

    find an existing PHP or ASP script and customize it... you can buy a decent one for $50-$100
    don't spend too much time on programming or customization.

    I have a dating script, (I do webdesign for a living and have TONS of scripts) PM me if your interested. ALSO if you want to do a dating site more as an affiliate but still have your own domain then google "white label dating"....If you go that way, make sure you check out reviews on companies before you sign up, like anything else there are some shady ones out there.

    I'd say go white label. Might be the better choice for you. You get an established company backing you, you get use of their software, all it usually costs you is a domain name. The bonus is you get access to their database of profiles so it looks like your dating site has a lot of members. More members, makes more people likely to join.

    Once you've gotten your feet wet doing that and have a better understanding of what running a dating website is about, then look to find a script and self hosting.

    It all depends about you want.. I can maybe help.. I have extensive experience in programming web applications..

    Fist Step: Define the objective. Do you want a Generic Clon?. It can be done by downloading an existing script.

    Do you want a UNIQUE millionaire dating site?.. We need to first design the screens and the concept, and then develop the software.
