Trying to create my website, please help

I am trying to give away my ebook on a website. The ebook is complete and I typed out a sales page (just on microsoft word). I bought my domain and hosting but dont really know where to go from here. I don't know how to put a sales page into website format where I can also have them type in there email to keep a list. I also have an aweber account but I don't know how to put this all together. Help much appreciated!! thank you

  • The "quick and dirty" way would be to just save the salespage as "Filtered HTML" in Word and then upload it to your host. You need to edit it a bit to include a web form from AWeber. Just follow the guides and tutorials in AWeber and you'll figure it out.

You can then let the visitor download the ebook on the thankyou/confirmed-page or send a link to it in your confirm/welcome email.

If you plan on building an online business, starting with the ebook, you might look into Wordpress and plugins for email integration and such.

Let us know how it goes!

    Okay Eric, I'm confused.

You are trying to give away an ebook from your website. Why do you need a sales page to give away an ebook?

You have an aweber account, have you looked at their FAQ's page or used their tutorials, or their helpdesk?

Google Filezilla, (FTP) once you've taken the time to learn how to create the sign up form at aweber, then you'll be able to ftp the sign up form page to your web site. After that, you'll be in a better position to be able to create and upload your download page.

I guess, all of this will seem like double dutch. But there is plenty of free information out there on the internet to make this process less painful for you.
And if you don't find it, let me know and I'll talk you through it.

It really isn't as hard as it sounds.
