Has anyone claimed for refund from HostGator?

Hey warriors,
I purchased a baby plan hosting from hostgator last month 28th Dec 2011.
Its not yet 45 days obviously. I used my credit card to pay them.
I just wanted to know if you guys have claimed for an refund from hostgator any time, how many days they took to pay you back ?

    I have to agree. If you are asking for a refund so you can switch to another company don't, they are outstanding, if you have a problem phone them or jump on the live support and have a text convo with someone and your issue will be sorted.

    I have had clients request a refund when we have moved them to our servers with no problem, but i agree with the other posters - hostgator is pretty good for shared hosting

    Out of curiosity, scriptkid, what's your reasoning behind wanting the refund?

    I've tried a couple hosts so far and hostgator hasn't made that list just yet (to date: godaddy and bluehost). I can definitely agree with the statement "not all hosts are equal" even when comparing extremely similar hosting plans.

    I'd be very interested in hearing about your first-hand experience.
