How to decompile purchased PHP script that has been encrypted with ioncube

My friend just purchased some type of script that is encrypted, it's PHP and is secured by ioncube, the problem is that the developer no longer offers support on the thing.

We has spotted some business's that charge, however he is not going to pay out $15 per file, when he does not know what file to decompile in the first place.

Any ideas or thoughts on this please...

    There is no free ioncube decoder that I am aware of.

    If the developer doesn't support it any longer, maybe he'll give up the unencrypted code. Have you asked?

    Try ionCube decoder | Zend Decoder. They have a good script that works. Cheap too, you can buy the actual program and do as many files as you want.
