Not exactly programming related but I didn't no where else to put this. I registered an EMD with Namecheap and bought hosting with Hostgator. When I visit my domain with a different computer or webproxy I get the correct wordpress site, however when viewing it with my main computer I still get the default Namecheap landing page. I cleared my cache and flushed my dns. What should I do? I'm also getting the occasional error 400 message as well :\

Maybe the DNS just haven't yet propagated everywhere yet ... give it a few hours.

I've waited about 2 hours so far, shouldn't it be done by now? And why would it show correctly in web proxys and on my phone?

Nameservers do not propagate evenly everywhere, it depends on the various locations. Give it a few ... and make sure to again clear your cache (F5).

yep... could take 8 or more hour on that machine.
I don't know why but specific computers can take for ever.

I seem to change that stuff a few times a week for someone.
I have seen it take 24 hours on a site owners machine, where as
the rest of the world sees it in a few hours.

I've seen it take a while as well. When you clear the cache, you also have to make sure you close all instances of your browser as well. The browser also caches your domain address info. One other thing you may want to try if you haven't already is to restart your computer to make sure all of your dns info is dropped from cache completely.

I have had it take around 24 hours before. I thought something was wrong. Checked again the next day and everything was fine.

One domain provider I use always takes a long time, another provider is almost instant.

I am having this problem since yesterday, I have cleared cache too but don't know how long it will take to get perfectly in my web proxy. I am still waiting, hope that it is being done today.
