I'm having a problem with my Wordpress site. Permalinks are broken, when I try to update them it says to edit my wp config file. What do I put in my wp config to get the permalinks to work? I've tried to figure out this problem on my own but everything I read references .htaccess. I cannot edit .htaccess due to my host (GoDaddy).

It sounds like the easiest and quickest solution might be contacting your hosting support and getting them to take a look - From what I've heard godaddy hosting can be problematic so rather than fight with file permissions or security settings, see what they say direct?
    good luck!

Did you add a plugin or make changes recently?

Most likely you added a plugin that conflicts with another. I would disable the last plugin that was added. Then wait a moment most servers are on delay so the changes don't show up right away. (That may be why you just noticed the broken perma links?)

Second, If that did not correct issues after waiting. I would check using my ftp for the last files that have been modified. You should not have to many files changed, also check your error _log

    Good luck
