Cookies/affiliate tracking on other site

guys,

do you know how do they track affiliate id on cross domain/other site..just like WSOPRO and JVZOO did?

    I don't know the exact mechanism they use, but if you look the URLs are from their domains, so likely on the request to that url, they drop a cookie and then forward to the sales page.

      yeah it might probably drop the cookies on their domain, but how does they'll know which id will buy

    Third-party cookies are a unreliable and blocked by Internet Explorer (yes, even IE8) unless the archaic P3P settings are properly sent by the server in question.

    Cross-domain tracking is almost always done by the query string in the URL.

    pbarnhart is right. you need to set the cookies while the user is on coming through the tracking link which is on YOUR domian (also set the P3P) privacy policy at this time, then use a tracking pixel on their site to call your site to check the users browser for the cookie your site set earlier.
