Newbie Q. - Adding Specific Ads to Static Wordpress Pages on the Extreme Left and Right

Hello-

I want to place affiliate Ads targeted for SPECIFIC Pages.

Like this Page - evolvewithflavor(dot)com/raw-food-weight-loss

But I'm confused. I'm a programming Newbie, how do I target the LEFT and RIGHT hand sides of Specific Pages for Ads?

On that Page, I want Ads Directly to the LEFT and RIGHT of the Main Text Banner that says "Learn This Definitive Raw Food Diet Weight Loss Solution from a Professional Chef"

Any Leads or Information Sources you Have would be Great.

THANKS!!!

Not sure if this is what you mean:

WordPress › Widget Logic « WordPress Plugins

Widget Logic allows you to place different ads in different sidebar widgets, then make those widgets show only on specific pages.

      Hey I appreciate your Reply

Not sure I want my Ads in the Sidebar, and let me know if I am wrong ...

The Sidebar is in the "Content" Portion of Wordpress (the center section where all the action is, kind of like the Warrior Forums here)

I need to be in the Background area (like the gray section on this page)

Again, the Link is - Evolve with Flavor | Evolve with Flavor

I don't know if this is just difficult - none of the plugins seem to handle this -

I have a large-umbrella authority site and we are targeting different keywords within that umbrella. Want to make the Affiliate Ads on specific Pages different.

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that the standard width for websites is still 960 pixels, because of the fact that Tablets, Netbooks, Small Laptops and yes, even some Desktop Screens still only support a maximum width of 1024 pixels.

As it is, your site already pokes beyond the edge of the screen and requires horizontal scrolling on these smaller screen sizes. This is why you almost never see ads out in the margins of a page like that.

You may want to instead consider a "page peel" type plugin, something like this:

WordPress › Page Peel « WordPress Plugins

As far as putting different ads on different specific pages, you're definitely starting to get into "Custom Coding" there -- either learning how to do it yourself using WordPress conditionals ( Conditional Tags « WordPress Codex ), or hiring a professional to do it for you.
