Can't locate the source for redirect

I'm working on a website which is being redirected to another site and can not locate the redirect.

I've checked the registrar (godaddy), host (hostgator) and .htaccess file (which is blank) and can not figure out how this is being redirected.

I can not access the site through old-site/wp-admin because I am being redirected to new-site.com/wp-admin.

Any suggestions on how to remove the redirect?

Thank you.

You don't give us enough information here...

Did you change change the DNS of the new website domain name? If so, it takes about 1 day to clear up all the caches along the way. This means it will first continue to go to the old location, then flip between the old and new for a while, and finally only go to the new site. The switch may be as fast as 1h, and as long as 2 days.

One way to work on your new site while that takes place is to create a sub-domain... however, Workdpress doesn't play nice with the "wrong" domain name...

No, I haven't changed the DNS of the new website domain name. All I've done is looked in the usual places trying to figure out how this site is redirected and can't figure out how to disable the redirect.

Did you check the index file?
    Did you check the database?
Did you ask Hostgator to investigate?

Did you check that forwarding is turned off in the domain management section at godaddy?

Problem solved - Thank you to everyone.

It was the database. I didn't even know you could do a redirect through the database. Learn something new everyday. Thank you again.

Thats an old black-hat trick. Stick the redirects into the database for a call and when someone checks the simple scripts and pages they see nothing but normal database calls. Otherwise, the amount of resources it needs to do a redirect like that is totally unnecessary.
