Problem With Flash Banner and Browser Cache

One of my friend is facing this problem.
There is a flash slide show on the homepage of his website. He frequently change images of this flash banner, the problem is, when the visitor is a repeat visitor he sees the old images because of his browser cache or some other reasons.

Is there a way to refresh the vistors browser cache? or any other method to fix this issue.

Please Help!

      Hi,

      This is the main problem what all the flash based website can suffer.

      Normally the flash can easily cache on the browser.

      You can check the newly created banner by cleaning the browser.

    Use random strings (usually timestamp) and put it at the end of the image

    so whenever there's new image with different timestamp, browser will get the new one instead serving the one from the cache.
