Hi Guys,

When it comes to design I have no problem as its the work I enjoy doing.

BUT...

When it comes to programming, HTML, CSS etc it gives me a real headache especially with Magento lol. I am trying to set up an ecommerce store and I have a Gadget store with main categories. The whole purpose for navigation is based around visual navigation so as opposed to clicking text links, I want my customers to be able to view images with those categories now here's what I am doing.

So the customer clicks on the main navigation category which will be 'Leisure' along the top navigation bar then they see these images which are the sub categories. Now if I click on another sub category such as Ghost Hunting Equipment I get this...

One HECK of a big image. If I remove the image, it will also disappear from the first image, so is there a way of removing this huge image and displaying the sub category images below for ghost hunting equipment and still keeping the image below for the first image?

Would appreciate all your thoughts. Thanks Guys!

Steve.

Are you using a custom theme?
Can you give us a link to see the store now or at least the list.phtml file?

Yes, I am using custom theme in Magento Development. Magento development as per your needs so that the developer will develop the theme suitable to your needs. Magento uses fall-back logic while rendering themes but now this has been expanded. Also, Easily customizable and can adopt any changes, which allows you to cop up with all latest trends and empowers you to upgrade it according to your needs & deeds!
