Can anyone suggest a working and free Twitter archive search?
Tried Topsy which seemed to work for a while but its no longer as useful as it used to be.
Thanks in advance.

No. I'm looking for something that allows me to do my own search as opposed to 'top' tweets/trends, etc.

Topsy did it. But it seems to be failing now.

try a free program called: Archivist Desktop

    visitmix dot com / work / archivist-desktop

based on what you described, this should be the solution to your problem.

Grateful for your suggestion. But it's not quite what i'm looking for and doesn't go beyond a few days of tweets.

Topsy does exactly what i want - allowing searches of tweets, photos, videos.
But it just doesn't go into the archive anymore and i can't seem to find now that does.

      Any other ideas?
