Affiliate Cookie information

Hello,

I was wondering about the cookie stuff.
I mean, I'm new in PPC campaign, and right now I drive traffic to my landing page. But what happen if the user doesn't click on my page and go directly to the product page? I think is not so much correct to not be paid.
So I listen around that there's the chance to put a cookie that, if the conversion occured, I will be paid.
I want to understand If someone do it and if it is legal.

Thanks in advanced!

Cookie stuffing isn't legal and isn't a good idea. The best way to alleviate your concern is with strong call to actions on your page, that way the user will click on your links and you'll be credit with a sale. Hope that helps.

In general you just want to simply not display a url the person can go to for the product so they always go through your tracking link if they click through on your page. There isn't really anything you can do that's not against 'the rules' to stop a user from just opening up a new tab and googling about the product you're talking about, that's really just cost of doing business for affiliate marketers.
