how to get rid of fake/imposter page url

Hi,

Any idea how the following is done and how I can get rid of the problem:

Someone took the code of one of my site pages and managed to get this new fake url

mysite.com/fake-adult-page-url/

to appear on my own site with my content on it.

There is no such url/page on my server, but Google pics it up as one of my site pages (even lists it in Analytics because my analytics code was part of the scraped code), and you can see my (duplicate) content when you visit the url.

My site consists of normal html pages in .php

Thanks for any ideas!

You could try actually creating that page on your server, then set it up as a redirect to your homepage (or put content there or do whatever else). Then set the redirect page so that if someone's referrer is listed as the offending site, they get a 404 or something, and submit a sitemap to Webmaster Tools to get it recrawled by Googlebot.

homebound, I'd suggest you have somebody check if the software you are running is up-to-date. For example if you have an older WordPress installation hackers may have used it to create bad pages.

Are you using WordPress? Have you tried qSandbox yet?
