How Can I use Wordpress, with Multiple referring id's, With Unique External Urls for each id

Hey there...

I'm drawing a blank, but is this possible maybe using php variable script, affiliate management plugin or how would I go about this?

I want to have 1 Wordpress site that is sales site about a product/business and be able to have multiple people referring the site, but when they do they have their own unique url, so that all the links on the sales site would redirect to their own unique website.

Any good suggestions on how to make this happen, what software, scripts or plugins to use?

I looked into Automateyourwebsite.com and thought that might be an option.

    Dan do you want a unique domain name/URL too? Or just a unique site hosted on your domain? ie yoururl.com/affiliatesite1

    There is a multipress version of wordpress google multisute wordpress (I don't have enough post to produce a link on this forum yet) .

    I run this on one of my sites, and it works great, users have their own access set by the admin (you). It took a bit of modification to set up, but I found everything I needed in the WP forums.

    I would want myurl.com/100 with 100 being a person/aff tracking id, then all the links on the site go to their external site they choose.

    So then another affiliate has the exact same site/system myurl.com/101 and all the links on the site point to their unique external site.

    So I build a marketing system/site that a lot of people can use, but have unique id's that code the pages with their links.

      Ok I misunderstood your post at first....

      I thought you wanted multiple sites on your URL....

      Are the existing Wordpress affiliate plugins not sufficient? There are paid and free ones available....I would post links but I am too new on this forum

      This might be a custom plugin if not....

        I've looked into Multisite a little more and that might work. Do you know if you make a change on the main template/site if you're able to change that network wide to all the other sites or would you have to do it one by one.

        I guess I need to start tweaking around with Multisite.

    Each site within the Multi site is a separate site within a domain, and is treated as such. There are a dozen ways to skin a cat though. Modify straight to the DB as an example....
