Wordpress Subscribe/Newsletter Plugin?

Just wondering what people are using to capture email address besides a signup form for newsletters?

Is there some type of free or paid wordpress plugin that people like

    Beyond using a commercial newsletter service like Aweber or GetResponse which includes the option for a web form, I would recommend looking into Gravity Forms. It lets you create unlimited forms within Wordpress and then you can embed them in a post, page or sidebar using a widget or directly into the theme with a php snippet.

    Anyone who fills out the form will have their entry recorded in the database and displayed in the admin WP Admin. You can also set it up to email you the submissions too. That is just scratching the surface of what it can do. I have gotten really creative with it, including creating custom post types and making an FAQ section where the site visitor can come and ask a question and let the admin answer it and post it to a new post automatically when its answered. It also has the ability to create order forms and donations too.
