What's Up With Ultimate Footer Ad???

Hi,

I'm pretty new to IM. Been reading my brains out the last six or seven months. I finally got my site where I think I'm happy with it and thought I'd try out the Ultimate Footer Ad.

I followed all the install directions with no problem. Then trying to create a customize footer got me stuck. I can basically change the wording and have a stock graphic from their templates but that's about it. I have no idea how to use my own graphic (such as my eBook cover) or my aWeber optin form code.

I've searched high and low and first I started to find some mentions of step-by-step videos that none of my files seemed to have. I emailed the few addresses I found on the thank you page after purchase and from my PayPal transaction but no luck finding support.

Now today I nearly had a heart attack because I read a post in another forum stating that the owner is discontinuing the product and all its support. I believe I bought this software from an affiliate.

I believe it could be a good tool but I need to leaen how to properly use it! Is anyone out there able to help me on this??

Get a refund through Paypal and move on. You don't want to use an unsupported product.

I think it's overkill if you already have two other opt-ins on your blog.

I was thinking about getting the PayPal refund but wasn't really sure if it would work. I think I am going to try that because I'm not crazy about the idea of no support.

    Thanks for the quick responses!

I would first try and get a refund properly, through the person you bought from, if you were offered a refund policy.

But I would not wait longer than 3 days for a response after I contacted them.

If that failed I would then resort to Paypal for a refund.

If the owner is discontinuing the product and support, there's a reason. Ask the affiliate for a refund first before going through Paypal.

The owner apparently sold licenses to some of his affiliates. This particular affiliate I purchased through did not have the correct contact information on any of the documentation. When I did the PayPal dispute, I got an immediate response from an email I'd never seen before. He answered my questions and offered apologies so I'm good with that. I only wanted to use it in its simplest format anyway on a page or two instead of a typical aweber form.

And yes, I am using it on WordPress...will that affect the product?
