Request for Wordpress php error message advice.

Hi I have a wordpress blog hosted on godaddy. The site is interviewwithanexpertseminars.com/wordpress. When I try to access the site through this address or my administrative panel at http://interviewwithanexpertseminars...s/wp-login.php, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare user_pass_ok() (previously declared in D:\Hosting\3076942\html\wordpress\wp-includes\user.php:205) in D:\Hosting\3076942\html\wordpress\wp-includes\deprecated.php on line 3323

I contacted godaddy support to ask for advice and was advised to try this approach given that godaddy support felt it was an issue with my plugins and could not access my dashboard:

To Disable WordPress Plugins If You Cannot Log In

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click the Launch button.
  4. Click the FTP File Manager icon in the Tools section of the hosting Control Panel.
  5. Navigate to your WordPress installation.
  6. Click the wp-content directory.
  7. Select the plugins directory, and then click Rename.
  8. In the Rename plugins to: field, type disabled_plugins, and then click OK.
  9. Click Create New Directory.
  10. In the Please enter directory name field, type plugins, and then click OK.

If your plugins caused the issue with your site, it should now work normally, without issue.

Once you're ready to re-enable your site's plugins, you can delete the empty plugins directory you created, and then rename the disabled_plugins directory back to plugins.

I tried this godaddy suggestion but continue to receive the same error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare user_pass_ok() (previously declared in D:\Hosting\3076942\html\wordpress\wp-includes\user.php:205) in D:\Hosting\3076942\html\wordpress\wp-includes\deprecated.php on line 3323

Can anyone please offer a suggestion as to what to try next?

Thanks for this.
Ed
