wordpress plugin

Hello,

Does anybody know of a free WP plugin that behaves exactly like this one

Wordpress plugin Image horizontal reel scroll slideshow

but, which pulls the images automatically from the latest posts? Unfortunately, the plugin above -as cool as it looks like- doesn't come with this feature and I couldn't find any plugin to do everything I mention here, either.

Please share if you know of such a plugin.

    There are definitely some premium themes out there with featured image sliders that are very similar to that.
    But off the top of my head i can not think of a plugin that does what you are describing.
    What i would suggest is using that plugin, then finding someone on odesk, to modify it so that it uses the featured images...
    I doubt you'd spend over 60 bucks..

      I found something that does almost the same thing, but which I can not use because the problem is somewhere else, not with the plugins.

    I've built lot's different image sliders into themes, but unfortunately - I never used plugins or widgets for something like that. What you are looking for is called image carousel. Try googling wp image carousel, or some combination of these words.

    For example this: WordPress › jcarousel Horizonal slider « WordPress Plugins. Good luck.

      I tried man. Only God knows what I lost my last 2 days doing (searching for the plugin, yes).

      Without exaggerating, I think I tried ALL "image slideshow" "image carousel" "slideshow content" "carousel" "slideshow" "slider" "image slide" "featured content" "recent posts with slideshow" "recent posts with slider" "carousel recent posts" "latest posts carousel" "recent posts slide" "news slideshow" "news slider" "news carousel" and other terms to find a damn plugin that has all these 4 features:

      1) is free
      2) pulls images automatically, resizes them (not crop, but resize) and links them to the product's pages
      3) pulls the images from custom posts/categories (my website sells digital products and so I have a digital product plugin that manages all my downloads and payments and which places the products in different categories, other from WP's default categories)
      4) has a carousel/slider/transition effect of any kind

      Would you believe that there is none such plugin?? Well there might be, but I couldn't find any
