I need Drupal modules

Hello !
I have a Drupal website and I need modules for chat and link exchange. I also want the chat module to keep the talking history. I downloaded from Drupal.org the modules GoogleChat and Exchange-Links, but they doesn't work correctly. I am sure that my installation and configuration is OK.

Can you please recommend me Drupal modules for chat ( with keeping history ) and link exchange ?

    I'm not into drupal, but I used joomla before, and shoutbox module. Here's similar for drupal: Shoutbox | drupal.org

    It keeps the history, but I'm not sure if this is what you want. Might be worth of checking out.
