Hello and thank you for taking the time to answer my question,

Basically I would like to know if you can redirect someone to a link after sending them to an affiliate link. What i want to do is send someone to a specific page through my affiliate link, although my affiliate link only directs them to the home page.

Possible?

ie. Customer clicks affiliate link = www.affiliate.com/referral-id.php > it loads then opens > www.affiliate.com/sales-page.php

Not possible. Once they have left your site, you have no control over that browser window. Many affiliate programs let you add ?referralid=123 to any page on their site. That would be the only way to do this I think. Probably best to ask your affiliate manager.

Cant do it that way, though you could write a script that opened your site and the affiliate link at the same time in different tabs.

  You can do this with Affiliate Window links. They even provide a Firefox addon exactly for this. They refer to this at AF as 'deep linking'. Quite a few other affiliate companies do similar so see if such is available at your own affiliate link company.
