Hello,

Could someone help me out please. This is my situation. I am hosting a website for a client of mine in Hostgator. Let's call this "client.com". I also have my own website, "mysite.com". I created a mobile version of the client's website, and want "m.client.com" to show the contents of "client.mysite.com"

I have been told that a CNAME is what is needed. The clients URL will display in the browser but the actual site files are hosted on my own domain name.

So "m.client.com" (showing in address bar) is actually displaying "client.mysite.com"

Is not a CNAME needed for this by having "m.client.com" CNAME to my own url?

When I type "m.clientsite.com" - I just get a 404 error.

The actual website itself (desktop version) has a script that redirects to the mobile version. I just want that to show the clients URL in the address bar instead of mine.
