Wordpress Plugins for VIDEO GALLERY?

I want to create a video gallery on my website (built off wordpress). Where people can browse through and video hand-chosen videos that I embed.

- I'm aware I could just put these videos into a wordpress post but that's not quite what I'm looking for.
- would anybody know what plugins there are for making a nice youtube gallery?

Thank you.

Good afternoon Blackli0n! Here is something that may get you started when it comes to displaying videos. This would be great for a no column wordpress page. I've used it before and it works great.

TubePress is the most full-featured I've used. It has a large load on the start-up time though.

Mark Dulisse' video player is great, but pricey.

I too have used TubePress and love it
But OP wants to handpick or select the individual videos he wants to display there,
which is not possible with Tubepress as it just displays all the videos from the channel, gallery or playlist (yes it is where he can handpick the videos and show only that playlist)

But As i understand OP want to have individual videos in own pages/posts to get more SEO impact with own indexed pages and comments... as Tubepress have just one page and individual videos are not on their own pages/posts...

To OP I suggest, to choose some VIDEO site theme (a theme made for VIDEO sites types) and then post videos inside the posts one by one by embeding.. as you already going to handpick the videos anyways... this way your site will have some skin in the game, being own pages/posts with videos on them and you can have comments, social activity (like LIKES,reTweets, FB comments...) and Social Sharing icons... This way each video will stand on its own footing and help you get more pages on the site with more chance of user input and activity.

        I recommend, something like:

Main Video at the top, with Good Keyword rich title of the post and relevant category and tags added.
Then Also some excerpts from the video, or nice introduction or comment below the video inside the post by the author, to give the verdict about the video or reason to watch...

Below that post section, have Related Posts show related videos (with Thumbnails) to excite more views and pageloads from the same user.

Below it have social sharing icons, and also integrate FB comments.

After posting the video, share it using social sharing buttons on FB, Twitter, Pinterest to get started in social sphere, as more people on social networks get chance to view your video, more social activity your site will have, and Google will not care about 300+ words content missing on your site, as a good video, which people are watching, and sharing, and liking and discussing on your site, is enough to get that page get its own footing,
and value in both SERPS and Users' sharing love.

        Hope this help,
        Mohsin
