Need to personalise salespage after visitor enters a code number
Hi, I've received letters from several UK marketers recently which use a cool trick I'd like to have on my site:
In the letter they give you a unique 5 digit hexidecimal code number. When you go to the website there's a box where you enter this code number and when you hit Enter it takes you to the main sales page which is then pre-populated with your name and address so it looks like a personal mailing to you.
I'd like to do this on a Wordpress site and wondered if anyone knows of an existing plugin that does this (or any marketing software that can do this)? I suppose this is just a database where each entry is assigned a unique code and when you enter the code in the box it pulls the record and displays the results within the text on the sales page.
Any help to do this would be much appreciated.
