I have a plugin installed that takes makes a subdomain based on the category.

Category: sample = sample.mydomain.com

It by default goes to a page that lists all of the posts. I would like it to go to a single page or post. Do you know how I can accomplish this. It's driving me crazy.

The plugin is wordpress subdomains (revisited)

So the subdomain is for the category and you want it to direct to a single page or post?

That doesn't make too much sense to me as by definition the category page will list all the posts within that category. That's what it's for.

If the subdomain is for a category which page/post would you like it to show?

I'm really not following you and it is as simple as what you've written then it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I want to control the page that it goes to. Pretty simple.

Those type of plugins needs to configure the wildcard. You will need to edit apache httpd.conf file of apache. You may not do this on shared hosting because of permission issue. You must contact your hosting provider. If you have a VPS or dedicated, you can handle it yourself...
