Need help figuring out solutions to make my site ready

I have a membership site: PianoKeyz | Join the 160,523 pianists who have experienced PianoKeyz which will have both free & paid levels of tutorial videos. The site uses the popular striking theme and is run on wordpress. Amember is the membership management which connects with wordpress. IP Board is the forum and it is in it's own directory and connects to wordpress users for single-sign on capability. I'm looking for an ecommerce solution now so I can also have a 'store' page and sell physical products. Stripe payment gateway is a must. Woocommerce didn't work well for me because the updates conflicted with amember and messed the site up.

What do you think of the site and what might be a good solution to have a store? I like opencart, but for this, a theme would have to be customized to match the site.

Thoughts/suggestions/criticism?

    Hi,

You need shopping cart and Stripe, and willing to go with woocommerce ...
    only issue is aMember conflict...

I recommend seperate WP install at yourdomain/store and install woocommerce there and setup the store there... maybe this way you can avoid the aMember conflict, or still there are issues? Have you tried this approach?... on this separate install you can again use Striking theme..so you need no custom theme again...

I have done this in the past for a client...who needed main site as blog, then Store section, then membership area.. and everything he wanted needed to be separate and easy to manage, to avoid any conflicts .....

We went with three seperate installs.. main blog, shop/store, members area
You can see live links here:

main blog/site: Personal Development from the Heart | Evolved Heart
    Shop/Store: Evolved Heart Store

    Members area: Members Only Area

Result was fast , lean sites, i know multiple installations are not recommended,
but sometime it is the way to go to avoid any conflicts like you are facing currently.

Let me know if you have any confusion or question regarding setup like this.

    Mohsin

PS. Just wanted to add that, same theme was used on all three installs to give the uniform look to the site.
