Hello.

I have been creating my pages in Dreamwever but on one site I want to add several products and need an easy way to upload the files to the server, deliver a unique email to the customer after the paypal payment which will expire within a few hours.

I also want the site to seem likek a simple sales page but with back end produts that are delivered by the shopping cart.

what can I use please?

It sounds like you're gonna need a custom piece of software.

Fortunately, you should be able to find a programmer here on the forums that can do this pretty cheaply. A few hundred maybe.

If you want something that will work, but will need major modification you can use WP Ecommerce, a plugin for Wordpress. I've done some cool things with it in the past. I'd recommend it as a decent free option.

I think osCommerce will do what you are looking for, plus it's free.

you must try magento, zencart and oscommerce and checkout which converts well for a ebook selling site.

    I would prefer oscommerce.

For $5/mo they give all you asking for and they are highly recommended all over.

    I used them personally.

I agree with anrkist. After checking out various shopping carts, I think prestoshop is one of the best. But I'll know more over time.

Magento is pretty slow, but once they have fixed some issues it might be the best open source shopping cart. Interspire has some really cool and unique features but the price is outragous. Just google it and you'll find that many interspire customers are complaining about hidden fees and constant upgrades that you have to pay for.

I don't know what I would recommend however I would NOT recommend OScommerce, or Zen Cart. If you want to customize them to any extent, it is time consuming until after they are set up. I don't like them overall. I would recommend something like BuyItSellIt or E-Junkie maybe

Well i will recommend oscommerce ,i am not saying this because it is fashionable to say so because i have customized an online ebook store for a client based on oscommerce.

I second e-junkie - you can make links for downloadable products time out, and also add security for pdf files.

I recently set up a system very similar to yours, the hardest part for me was figuring out HOW to deliver the digital products safely and delivering emails afterwards.

If you go to easy-webgraphics.com and scroll down to my products you will see how my system works.

I use a few different products.

I use "DigivendorPro" - Digital Download Delivery Software and "Box.net" to store the files, that way they are protected better and not on my server.

If you go to qualitydigitaldownloads.com and scroll to the bottom and click on LINKS it will take you to a link to all of their software programs.

DigivendorPro is a server side script that you upload and install yourself, they give you the instructions on HOW to do it, its not that hard and they also have a forum with many helpful people if you need help or get stuck.

They also have several MODS for the software.
