Connecting to VPS with a Mac

Hi.

I'm trying to connect to a VPS using my mac.

I've recieved my log in details from host, and I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop for mac to connect, but it's not working. I don't get any error message. It just doesn't let me connect.

What could i be doing wrong?

    I guess this would be possible if you are running a Windows VPS (connecting to your server with remote desktop doesn't seem right to me, however I only use linux servers so I could be wrong). Most servers run on a linux distro and you normally use some sort of control panel to manage it (cPanel, Plesk, etc).

    Regardless, it's always easiest just to open a support ticket with your host for issues like this.

      I opened a support ticket. Turns out I was sent the wrong login details. All sorted now
