Hi all!

Ok, so I have my niche ebook finsihed( in the health niche) and am now trying to fathom out Wordpress installation. I know about getting a domain/server side of things, but would do you guys recommend be the next stage?

What's best, a squeeze page, or landing page?
What's best for building email lists?(software etc)
What's best for sales letters?

Anything else I may have missed out?

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Many thanx.

Nattie

    Hey Nattie,

The best is to test both Landing and Squeeze pages. See what converts better
Building a list? Use list building script, available from multiple resources or get a hosted solution ( HowCanIGetRich.biz has an all in one program for all your needs for both lists & landing/squeeze pages ).

For sales letters, i'd use niche sponder
    Hope this helped!

I am happy with hostgator for hosting and their support has been good in my experience. I am using aweber for autoresponder ( I had a bad experience with getresponse). You can find free downloadable squeeze pages by googling or use fiverr to get it done for you. Same for graphics if you need a nice cover for your ebook (fiverr).

    Good luck!

      Hi Bruce,

I'm sorry to hear that. If there's anything I can do, please drop me a PM.

Nattie, if you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them via PM or just ping me on Twitter. Or click the link in my sig for info.

      Regards,
      jim

I thought that landing pages & squeeze pages were the same thing - am I missing something?

You can't go wrong with AWeber for the list, but if you're tight on cash at the moment, there's no reason you can't hold off on the AWeber account until your sales page is converting at 2-3% (or whatever magic figure is applicable in your case). I'm assuming, of course, that your strategy involves directing both list and non-list prospects to the sales page.

You also have to remember that sales pages are toxic when it comes to free-traffic methods, and you'll probably just rack up an impressive array of account suspensions if you try to get anywhere with them traffic-wise (at least if you're as unlucky as I seem to be). So for any non-list traffic that you want to send to your sales page, it's worth experimenting with an informational pre-sell in there somewhere: traffic ---> information/content site --> sales page. When you add in the list, you can modify that funnel or keep it and start a separate funnel.
