PLEASE HELP re Membership

I'm in the throws of turning my wp into a membership site.
Plug-in I've got:
Membership - Version 3.4.4.1 | By Barry (Incsub), Cole (Incsub) (just so there's no confusion)
Video tutorials/ pdf etc good.
One major problem
There is NO LOGIN AREA showing on the site ..... people can Register ... but can't login.
There is no tutorial for creating a login button.
There are two widgets:
1, Membership Level Text
2. Membership Subscription Text
Have no idea what they are for as, again, can't find any tutorial.

Everything else is sweet.

Can some-one PLEASE HELP - I've searched the net, but can't find anything that makes sense. What am I missing????

Cheers

Have you tried using the usual Wordpress login URL?

    http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php

If that works, then you can probably ask your members to use the same link.

If you're asking about the Membership plugin (WPMUdev) they seem to have an extensive tutorial set here - WordPress Membership Plugin - WPMU DEV

Somewhere down this page you would see the tutorials for this plugin.

Many thanks, Saxatwork, I've been through the tutorials (both video and pdf) and there's no mention of the login or what those other two widgets are for. The wp login-in isn't really the option I wanted. Thanks for replying though - I'm just going to have to go back to the drawing board and find another solution.

saxatwork and rhinocl are both right...
you would login using the wordpress login.

You don't have to start over though...
Just integrate the login to the frontend of the site so it appears to be different.
There are many free plugins at wordpress.org for this.
You could also go with a paid type like at codecanyon.

Thanks David V. I'll have a look at it. I'm surprised that it's not included in the tutorials which are really good.

I use Amember which works with my WordPress site. It's $180 but you can't beat everything it can do. I have been using amember since 2002 and the latest release of Amember 4 is awesome. Worth a look if you plan on having a big site with allot of members.

Thanks Jared, but as this is just a simple membership site I'll stick to a free version. But have made a note of Amember for future reference.
