Wordpress + 3 Domains + SSL

Hey guys, I have a primary domain, www.Example.com

I want to expand

www.Example.ca
www.Example.co.uk

Can I use the same Wordpress install using the Multisite? Or should I just create 2 new sites? They're essentially all the same thing, maybe a red theme for .ca

ANSWER: Yep, it's called MultiDomain

Yes you can set your dns settings to point to the same hosting so it will look same everywhere

WebTekMedia is right. SSL REQUIRES that the domain name resolve to a given IP address, etc... ALSO, if the current NAME doesn't match that in the SSL cert, it will warn the visitor.

The ONLY way to get it to work is to either use wildcards subordinate to a NON TLD level domain(which doesn't apply to YOUR case, though such a thing would be expensive anyway), or a domain YOU choose must be the MAIN domain, where the SSL is, and the others use REWRITE to direct to the main domain.

BTW by NON TLD level, I mean:

        www.Example.ca
        www.Example.co.uk

WON'T work because the NON TLD levels are:
        Example.ca
        Example.co.uk

        If you used:

        www.EXAMPLE.ca
        MYNAME.EXAMPLE.ca
        MYNAME2.EXAMPLE.ca

The lowest NON TLD level is
        EXAMPLE.ca

and your cert could be like:

        *.EXAMPLE.ca

And work with all the 3rd level domain names. BTW ca is considered a TLD, so the SSL certs won't work on *.ca.

          Steve, you're the man.

Thanks for the excellent answer, I'm still foggy on how SSL details work, and I don't really care
