Hi,

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I just got the message below on my wordpress blog today and I don't know what it is. I've been searching online the whole day but still no luck. Hope you guys can help. Here's the message:

"302 Found

The document has been temporarily moved to here.
Powered By LiteSpeed Web Server
LiteSpeed Technologies is not responsible for administration and contents of this web site!"

When I click the word "here" it takes me to one of my blog posts. What is this and what do I have to do?

302 is a redirect status code, which means literally that a document has been temporarily moved to a new location.

Why the host software is handling it this way is a mystery to me, you really need to a contact your host. I don't know enough about the LiteSpeed software to really comment. Probably your software (a wordpress plugin?) is sending the 302 for whatever reason, and the host software has chosen this method to deliver it to the client (browser), instead of sending the headers as normal. Normally your browser would just redirect.

Either disable your plugins one at a time to see which one is the culprit, or figure out why it is sending a 302 instead of a 301 (permanent redirect). And, it's definitely worth asking your hosting company what is going on.

It's a web server, just like Apache. Supposedly it's faster but I doubt it has the features or support of Apache.

I did contact my host and the problem seems to be wordpress, it's a new bug from the latest update. It has happened before with Wordpress 2.0.5 which has a fix but the plugin has not been updated and doesn't work anymore.

    This was the old fix:
WordPress › Support » "302 Found" after upgrading to 2.0.5

Which is 6 years old and doesn't help in anyway. Hope someone here has a solution because my host say it can affect the site but they don't mention in what way.
